Speedtrap Ride Tuesday September 19th

The Speedtrap Ride, one of America’s great Tuesday night rides, will roll out again tomorrow, Tuesday, September 19th, at 6:10 pm from Spoke Life Cycles in Elmore, Ohio. The weather forecast for ride time is a temperature of 69 degrees, mostly cloudy skies, no chance of rain, with a NNE wind of 5 mph shifting to an East Wind of 4mph.

Scott Lang will take out his Ghost Pepper Riders and will likely average 22 to 24 mph. Are you up to the challenge??!!

Bob Kayden will lead the Cayenne Pepper Riders with a probable riding average of 20+ to 22 mph.

Tony Mazurek and Ken South are co-leaders of the Habanero group, and that group will most likely average 20 to 21+ mph.

Todd Pollock will take out the Jalapeno Riders. That group’s averages have been anywhere from 17 to 19+ mph.

I plan to ride out with the Sweet Pepper Riders, those who would like to ride at a more casual pace.

This will be Bob and Becky Kayden’s last appearance at the Speedtrap Ride for the 2023 season. After the ride, Bob and Becky will provide walking tacos for all, as we wish them a great winter vacation, AND to celebrate Bob Kayden’s birthday.

So come out to enjoy a great ride with some great people, and then enjoy food, drink, and good conversation after the ride.

Sunset will be at 7:36 pm, so lights, both front and rear, are highly recommended for the ride!

Sign-in begins at 5:40 in front of the bike shop. I hope to see you then!

Coming Next Tuesday September 26th: Vintage Bike Night!
