Speedtrap Ride Tuesday September 12th
The Speedtrap Ride, one of America’s great Tuesday night rides, will roll out tomorrow, Tuesday, September 12th, from Spoke Life Cycles in Elmore, Ohio, at 6:15 pm. Please note the time!
Scott Lang will lead his Ghost Pepper Riders. If you ride in his group, expect to average 22 to 24 mph. Are you up to the challenge!!
Bob Kayden will take out his Cayenne Pepper Riders and redturn with a likely average of 21 to 22+ mph.
Both Tony Mazurek and Ken South will be away, so a substitute leader is needed for the Habanero Riders at 20 to 21 mph.
Todd Pollock will take out the Jalapeno Riders and average anywhere from 17 to 19 mph.
The Sweet Pepper Riders are those who would like to ride at a more casual pace. I plan to ride out with the group.
Although rain is predicted for the morning, it should be gone by ride time, with a 10% chance or less of rain. There should also be partly cloudy skies, a NW wind of 6 mph, and a temperature in the upper 60s. Sunset will be at 7:48, so lights are required for slower riders.
Only two more official Speedtrap rides after this one! Now is the time to enjoy some quiet country roads with some great people!
