Speedtrap Ride Tuesday August 22nd
The Speedtrap Ride, the best Tuesday night ride out of Ottawa County, will hold its next chapter tomorrow, Tuesday, August 22nd at 6:30 pm from Spoke Life Cycles in Elmore, Ohio.
Scott Lang will lead the Ghost Pepper Riders over a 25-mile course at a 22 to 23+ mph average. Are you ready for the adrenalin rush??!!
Dave Stover, substituting for Bob Kayden, will lead the Cayenne Pepper Riders over the same course at an average of 21 to 22+ mph
Ken South and Tony Mazurek are co-leaders for the Habanero Riders, They will lead the group over the 25-mile course at a 20 to 21+ mph average.
Todd Pollock, again over the 25-mile course will lead the Jalapeno Riders at a 17 to 19 mph average.
I plan to ride out with the Sweet Pepper Riders over a slightly shorter 22-mile route, averaging anywhere from 15 to 17 mph.
The weather forecast calls for sunny skies, 0% chance of rain, and a temperature in the mid to low 70s at ride time. There is predicted, however, an ENE wind of 9mph. Mother Nature, do we have to endure an east wind again??!!!
