Speedtrap Ride Tuesday August 15th recap

The Speedtrap Ride brought twenty-five hardy cyclists to Elmore Tuesday evening Ato brave some windy conditions and threatening skies.

Scott Lang led the Ghost Pepper Riders and reported a riding average of 22.8 mph,

Dave Stover with his Cayenne Pepper Riders. and Tony Mazurek with his Habanero Riders rode as one group to a hard fought 20.4 mph.

Todd Pollock  led eleven Jalapeno Riders to an 18 mph average.

There were four riders new to the Speedtrap Ride this week. All rode in Todd Pollock’s group and all are pictured: Mark Shade(blue helmet), Luc Sloan(yellow jersey), Andrew Fought(dark shirt), and Tony Romanowski(blue and black jersey). Welcome all to the Speedtrap Ride.

Thank you, Todd Pollock, for the photo of some Jalapeno Riders on the road.

Please join us next Tuesday, August 22nd, for the next chapter of the Speedtrap Ride. The long-range weather forecast indicates another great night for riding: a high of 88 degrees, partly cloudy skies, a WSW wind of 11 mph, and only a 5% chance of rain.

It will also be a great night for riding quiet country roads with some really great people. I hope to see you then!
