New this year - two ride options!
MAD ANTHONY RIVER RALLY (Traditional) - 28th ANNUAL
Enjoy a delightful ride on low-traffic, flat roads along the scenic Maumee River. Stop at Providence Dam Metropark for one of the most beautiful views of the river and dam. Continue to Napoleon where the Emperor himself may greet you. Then head north into farm country bursting with crops almost ready for harvest.
MARR MAD FONDO - 1st ANNUAL
For the first time in NW Ohio, challenge yourself to complete a timed road ride! The MAD FONDO takes the same route as traditional MARR. Cross the starting line and a timing chip will record your official time start to finish. The simple route with few turns and fewer hills provides a great opportunity to complete 32,64, or 100 miles in record time. But it’s not a race, you are competing only for a personal best.

Gravel option takes riders on the tow path along the river, once used by mules to assist boats through the rapids. The first stop is Providence Dam Metropark (remember – beautiful view of the dam), the on down the towpath. Finish via the South Fork of the Wabash Cannonball Trail.
Some sections of the trail are very rough. MTB or fat tires recommended!
Camping Contact Metroparks Toledo for a spot at White Oak Campground in Oak Openings Preserve. The campground is three miles from the ride start.
Hotels The nearest hotel to Whitehouse is The Staybridge Suites located at The Shops at Fallen Timbers, 2300 Village Dr, Maumee, OH, approximately seven miles (a straight shot down the bicycle path) from the ride start.
Dreading a long, stinky drive home? Never fear! We've got you covered there, too. Post-ride showers available until 5:00pm at Cyclewerks! (Bring your own soap and towel).
