Speedtrap Ride Tuesday May 4th Recap

The Speedtrap Ride drew thirty riders to Elmore, Ohio, this past Tuesday, May 4th, for the first official ride of the season. There were favorable weather conditions at ride start: temperature in the 60s with a light wind. However, weather conditions gradually worsened as the ride progressed. Wind speeds increased and there was a light rain by the time riders returned to Elmore.

All five groups were represented. However, the Habanero Riders’ average of 19.5 mph, from leader Doug Kilpatrick,  was the only one reported.

New to the Speedtrap Ride this week were Lindsay Rausch, TAB board member, and David St. Louis. Lindsay Rausch is pictured.(I’ll get David St. Louis next time).

After the ride, several riders enjoyed the camaraderie of other riders in the store with music and drink.

Come join the fun! Please join us next Tuesday, May 11th, for the next chapter of the Speedtrap Ride. Sign-in begins at 6:00 in front of Spoke Life Cycles in Elmore, and we roll out at 6:30 pm. I hope to see you then!
