    The Meanderer's will be joining the Trails Day celebration this Saturday, April 22nd rolling out of Whitehouse (just across from Cycle Werks) at 9a. This week's route incorporates a portion of the Wabash-Cannonball Trail for a 27-mile loop towards Delta. Bring hydration and a snack for the mid-ride rest stop. Average pace for the ride will end up around 13-15mph, but the pace is adjusted for those of you in attendance. Weather willing, we hope you will be able to join us! Any cancellation will be posted by 8a on Saturday, so please check before you head out.

    Speedtrap Ride Tuesday April 18th

              The Speedtrap Ride will once again have a pre-season unofficial ride tomorrow, Tuesday, April 18th. Riders will depart Spoke Life Cycles in Elmore, Ohio, at 6:30 pm.

                This is an unofficial ride. Regular ride leaders are not required to be present. Riding groups will be formed and leaders will be chosen from those who show up to ride.

              The weather will not be as favorable as last week. At ride time the temperature is predicted to be 53 degrees, with a west wind of 16 – 17 mph. There should be a nice tailwind for most of the return trip to Elmore. There is no chance of precipitation.

    Sunset will be at 8:16 pm, so most riders will probably have returned to Elmore by then, However, any slower riders may want to have lights just in case there is an unexpected delay!

    This week's Meandering Ride will depart Whitehouse at 9a Apr 15th (meeting up just across the street from Cycle Werks). We have a 26mile route that will run us down River Road for a spell before we turn back to our start point. Bring hydration and a snack for our mid-ride rest stop. Our average pace for the entire route will be between 13-15mph (expect some rolling speeds around 17-18mph), but we always adjust for the abilities of the group that shows up for the ride. Hope you can come out and join us for what looks like another beautiful morning in Northwest Ohio!

    The Saturday's adventure ride for April 15th will depart from Secor Metropark at 9 am for a nice stroll through some great Metroparks. Plan on 40 miles at a 17 to 19 mph rolling pace with a final ride average between 15 and 17 mph.

              The Speedtrap Ride, one of America’s great Tuesday night rides, will hove another pre-season unofficial ride tomorrow, Tuesday, April 11th. Riders will depart Spoke Life Cycles in Elmore, Ohio, at 6:30 pm.

              Please remember that this is an unofficial ride. Regular ride leaders are not required to be present. Riding groups will be formed and leaders will be chosen from those who show up to ride.

              The weather is predicted to be very favorable for an April ride: sunny skies, a temperature in the low 70s, and a WSW wind of 12 – 13 mph. There should be a nice tailwind for most of the return trip to Elmore.

    Sunset will be at 8:09 pm, so most riders will probably have returned to Elmore by then, However, any slower riders may want to have lights just in case there is an unexpected delay!

    This Saturdays adventure ride will be the famous Packos ride. We leave from Cyclewerks in Whitehouse at 9 am and ride to the original Packos location where we will enjoy Hungarian hotdogs. The route is 40 miles across some difficult roads so you might want to ride the gravel bike. The pace will be 16 to 18 mph.

    The Meanderer's will be rolling out of Whitehouse (across from Cycle Werks) this Saturday April 8th at 9:00a. Our Reverse 5'fer route will run us out to Sidecut & Oak Openings Metropark's for a round trip of 26-miles, with an average pace of 13-15mph for the whole route. Bring hydration and a snack to enjoy for our mid-ride break. Hope you can come join us for our 2nd ride of the season!!

    Speedtrap Ride Tuesday April 4th

              The Speedtrap Ride, the best Tuesday night ride out of Ottawa County, will begin its 2023 season with four unofficial rides on the four Tuesdays in April.

    The first will be tomorrow, April 4th, leaving Spoke Life Cycles in Elmore at 6:30 pm.

              As with any unofficial ride, regular ride leaders are not required to be there. Riding groups and leaders for those groups will be determined by those who show up to ride.

              For ride time the temperature is predicted to be in the low 50s, with cloudy skies and an east wind of 12 mph. Sunset will be right about 8:00, so any slower riders should really have lights.
