Speedtrap Ride Tuesday, May 21st
The Speedtrap Ride, the best Tuesday night ride out of Ottawa County, will roll out again tomorrow, Tuesday, May 21st, from Spoke Life Cycles/Elmore at 6:30 pm.
Scott Lang will once again lead the Ghost Pepper Riders on a 25-mile ride and will likely average 21 – 22 mph. Are you ready for the challenge?!
Tony Mazurek will lead the Habaneros over the same course. His group expects to average 19 – 20 mph.
I will lead the Jalapeno Riders on a slightly shorter 22-mile ride. Last week we topped 16 mph. Can we improve this week?
Marnie Arndt will be on hand to lead the Sweet Pepper Riders over a course and at a speed comfortable for those in her group.
The high temperature is predicted to be 61 degrees, with ENE winds at 5 to 10 mph – not quite as nice as last week, but it will still be a fun ride!
After the ride, many may gather, as usual, at the Portage Inn in Elmore, for food, drink, and good conversation.
As you can see, there is something for everyone! Come on out to Elmore, ride some lightly travelled roads, and meet some great people, too!
Sign-in begins at 6:00, and we ride at 6:30. I hope to see you then!
