Speedtrap Ride Tuesday May 14th
The Speedtrap Ride will once again roll out from Spoke Life Cycles/Elmore (formerly Elmore Cycling and Fitness) tomorrow, Tuesday, May 14th.
The high temperature is predicted to be in the mid 60s with some sunny skies and winds 5 to 10 mph. That’s considerably better than what we experienced last week.
Scott Lang will once again lead the Ghost Pepper Riders on a 25-mile course. His group will likely average 20 – 22 mph. Are you ready?!
Tony Mazurek will lead the Habaneros over the same course and will likely average 18 – 20 mph.
I will lead the Jalapenos over a slightly shorter 22-mile course. We hope to average 16 mph.
Marnie Arndt will be there to lead the Sweet Pepper Riders over a course and at a speed comfortable for those in her group.
With the weather predicted to be favorable, why not come out to Elmore and see why the Speedtrap Ride is the best Tuesday night ride out of Ottawa County. You’ll ride some quiet country roads and meet some great people, too.
After the ride, some riders will likely gather at the Portage Inn in Elmore for food, drink, and good conversation.
Sign-in begins at 6:00, and we ride at 6:30. I hope to see you then!
