30 Winter Warriors ventured north on Saturday to visit the Original Gravity Brewing Co. in Milan Michigan. Most riders rode the 20+ mile route and went looking for some warm surroundings and cold beer; a few others went a bit further. Ok, much further, but that's their fault. Winter Warriors can be sickos.
As Winter Warrior Series coordinator, Rob Golden stated,
"We've ridden road bikes, cross bikes, mountain bikes, gravel bikes, fat bikes, fast bikes, slow bikes, owned bikes, and borrowed bikes. We've eaten cookies, donuts, sandwiches, IPAs, water, and coffee. We've had blowouts, flats, seized brakes, sliding seats, and directional challenges. We've had warm rides, cold rides, wet rides, and dry rides; most of the rides are fun rides with old friends, new friends and, most of the time, cold friends. There's more to come with the remainder of the season and chances to win your very own two-wheel reindeer, so come out and join us!"
This Saturday is Winter Warrior VII: The Rudolph Christmas Card Ride
We'll ride with our Christmas cards from the trailhead in Bowling Green Ohio down to Rudolph on the Slippery Elm Trail and get our cards postage stamped with Rudolph. The group leaves at 9:00am and bike choice will depend on trail conditions. Please join us!
