Speedtrap Ride Tuesday, June 29th
The Speedtrap Ride, the best Tuesday night ride out of Ottawa County,
will take place again tomorrow, Tuesday, June 29th, leaving Spoke Life Cycles in Elmore at 6:30 pm.
Scott Lang will once again lead the Ghost Pepper Riders over a 25-mile course, and expects to average 22 – 23+ mph. Are you ready for it?!
Bob Kayden will lead the Cayenne Pepper Riders over the same course, at a slightly slower pace, 21 – 22” mph.
Doug Kilpatrick will lead the Habanero Riders at what will likely be 20+ mph.
Todd Pollock should be back for the Jalapeno Riders, with a riding average anywhere from 16.5 to 18.5 mph.
I will take out anyone who would like to ride at a casual pace and form the Sweet Pepper Riders.
Weather predictions are as follows: a SW wind of 3 mph, temperature in the upper 80s, and about a 40% chance of scattered thunderstorms at ride time diminishing to about 20% by ride’s end.
After the ride, some may gather in front of the bike shop for music, drink, and good conversation.
The Speedtrap Ride is a joint venture of TAB and the Flatlanders. If you come out you may meet and ride with some great people you don’t ordinarily ride with, and you’ll be riding on very lightly traveled country roads. Why not give the Speedtrap Ride a try?
