2019 Ride of Silence - Toledo

The TAB group will leave Tam-O-Shanter promptly at 6:00pm and ride down to the University of Toledo for the Ride of Silence. Below is RoS information:

The 10th Annual Toledo Ride of Silence will be held on May 15 starting and ending at Gateway Area 25 located adjacent to the University Parks Trail at the University of Toledo (near Secor and Dorr).  The ride will be slow-paced (12 mph Max.) covering ~10 miles.  We will be escorted by Toledo City Police, Ottawa Hills Police and UT Police on route.  Helmets are required. This event is free and open to the public.  No registration necessary.

We will depart promptly at 7PM so please arrive 6:30~6:45PM.  During the ride, we will pause at Ottawa Hills HS in memory of Dave Larabee, killed on his way home from work in 2005, Toledo Children's Hospital in memory of Dr. Stephen Snedden, killed while biking along River Road in Perrysburg Township, and Ottawa Park in honor of Dr. Robert Brundage.  We will remember and honor Tom SantoroEric RamlowDouglas KaniaSierah JoughinMatthew BillingsJames LambertEmilee GagnonHarvey Bell IIIAndy Gast, Adam Little, Jimmy Hughey, Jeff Roth and others prior to the start of the ride.  This is a community event supported by the Maumee Valley AdventurersMaumee Valley WheelmenToledo Bikes and Toledo Area Bicyclists.
