The Ann Arbor Bicycle Touring Society (AABTS) presents the 43rd annual One Helluva Ride (OHR) on Saturday, July 13, 2019. Join us for a day of scenic bicycle touring over tree-lined, paved roads in Washtenaw, Ingham, Jackson and Livingston counties. The routes wind through rural and state recreation areas on beautiful rolling terrain with varying distances to appeal to a broad range of bicyclists.
OHR riders can choose from several paved routes, shorter fun rides and a gravel road option. All rides start and end at the Fairgrounds in Chelsea, Michigan except for the fun rides. Please see the website for final details as the ride date gets nearer. New for this year, the lunch will be served at the end of the ride at the Chelsea Fairgrounds. As always, numerous rest stops along the routes will provide a range of hydration and snack options .
SAG support and mechanics will be on duty. Every rider must have a helmet.
For complete and up-to-date details about the ride and instructions to register, see www.aabts.org/one_helluva_ride.php. The ride is limited to the first 1600 riders.
