Annual Rudolph Ride - Dec. 15th at 10:30am

posted Dec 7, 2012, 12:08 PM by TAB Webmaster

TAB's annual Rudolph Ride will be held Saturday, December 15th at 10:30 am.

This year our volunteer Head Elf ride leader will be Chuck Nicewonder.  Please meet him at the Slippery Elm Trailhead in Bowling Green at 10:30 am.

We'll ride 4.5 miles to the Rudolph post office (bring your greeting cards and small packages to mail with the special Rudolph postal mark) and enjoy treats and goodies.

If the weather is nice, riders may continue on the Slippery Elm to North Baltimore or enjoy the rural roads in Wood County. However, if it is cold or time is short, riders can return to BG for an easy 9 mile ride.

We encourage you to ride in the holiday mood by donning costumes or decorating your bike.  In the past, we’ve had riders join us as Santa, Rudolph, and elves … bicycles have been decked out with lights, ribbons, and presents.  This is a family friendly event so consider towing a trailer or tag-along bike with your kids (or a friend’s kids).  One more thing … we typically sing carols!

Happy Holidays!
